PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
As Fidancı Esin Avukatlık Ortaklığı (“Fidancı Esin”), in our capacity as data controller under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (the “Law” or “LPPD”), we have prepared this privacy notice to inform you regarding your personal data processed within the scope of our activities.
1. Which Personal Data is Processed, for What Purposes, and on What Legal Grounds?
A. Our Website Visitors In the event you visit our website, your personal data is processed for the purposes of carrying out information security processes and fulfilling our legal obligations, based on the legal ground of “being necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation” under Article 5/2(ç) of the Law.

B. Our Clients and Prospective Clients The personal data of our clients or the authorized representatives/employees of our corporate clients is processed for the purposes of establishing the attorney-client service agreement and the relationship of representation, providing legal consultancy services, and following up on litigation and enforcement proceedings and performing related tasks, based on the legal ground of “being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract” under Article 5/2(c) of the Law. Furthermore, this data may be processed for the purpose of establishing, exercising, or protecting a right within the scope of legal disputes under Article 5/2(e) and for communicating with you about legal developments in line with our legitimate interests under Article 5/2(f) of the Law.
C. Our Business Partners/Suppliers The personal data of our business partners or the authorized representatives/employees of our corporate business partners is processed for the purposes of executing the procurement/sale of goods/services and related contract processes, and for monitoring finance and accounting affairs, based on the legal ground of “being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract” under Article 5/2(c) of the Law.
D. Our Employee and Intern Candidates Personal data included in the résumés of our employee and intern candidates is processed for the purposes of conducting application, selection, and placement processes and performing reference checks, based on the legal ground of “being necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed” under Article 5/2(f) of the Law.
2. To Whom and for What Purposes is Your Personal Data Transferred?
Your personal data may be transferred:
To Authorized Public Institutions and Organizations for the purposes of ensuring that activities are conducted in compliance with the legislation, following up on legal affairs, and fulfilling legal obligations, based on the legal ground of “being necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation” under Article 5/2(ç) of the LPPD.
To Cloud Service Providers located abroad for the purposes of providing the IT infrastructure, managing information and documents, and carrying out storage and archiving activities, provided that the necessary conditions under Article 9 of the LPPD are met (for example, obtaining your explicit consent).
To Business Partners, Consultants, Financial Institutions, and Service Providers located in Turkey or abroad for the purposes of performing legal services and related contractual processes, carrying out invoicing and payment transactions, and obtaining services/support/consultancy for office activities, based on the legal ground of “being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract” under Article 5/2(c) of the LPPD.
3. What are the Collection Methods for Your Personal Data? Your personal data is collected through electronic and physical means via documents such as emails, phone calls, our website, physically submitted résumés, contracts, invoices, and business cards.
4. What are Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data? Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the following rights concerning your personal data:
To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
To request information if it has been processed,
To learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used in line with its purpose,
To know the third parties to whom it has been transferred, domestically or abroad,
To request the correction of incomplete or incorrectly processed data,
To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions stipulated in the Law,
To request notification of the correction, deletion, or destruction processes to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
To object to the emergence of a result against you through the analysis of processed data exclusively by automated systems,
To demand compensation for damages in case you suffer loss due to unlawful processing.
5. How Can You Exercise Your Rights? You may submit your requests concerning your rights listed above to us through the following methods, in accordance with the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”:
In Writing: By applying in person with a valid identity document to our address at Sahrayıcedit Mah. Atatürk Cad. No: 57 Dilkum Sitesi 6. Blok K: 1 D: 9 Kadıköy / İstanbul, or by sending a registered letter with return receipt containing your original signature and a copy of your ID.
Electronically: By sending an email to info@fepartners.com.tr from your registered electronic mail (KEP) address, using your secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or from the email address you have previously notified to us and which is registered in our system. Your application must clearly state your name, surname, Turkish ID number (passport number for foreigners), residential or business address for notifications, email address if any, phone number, and the subject of your request. If you are acting on behalf of someone else, a document proving that you are specifically authorized to do so (a special power of attorney) must be attached to the application.
6. How Soon Will Your Requests Be Answered? Your requests regarding your rights will be evaluated and concluded within 30 (thirty) days at the latest from the date they are received by us. If your application is rejected, the reason for rejection will be sent to the address you specified in your application.
